La Pampita is more than a farm: it is the result of decades of family work in one of Chile's most remote and biodiverse territories. Open pastures, native forest, bee colonies and a rural life that follows the rhythm of the seasons all coexist here.
When we arrived in Manihuales, the flat part of the land did not have a single tree. Fires from the last century had cleared the native forest to gain farmland, and according to those who witnessed it, the flames spread far beyond what anyone intended. That is the soil we inherited. Today, Fundo La Pampita integrates an agroforestry system that combines sustainable livestock farming, high-quality beekeeping and the artisanal production of food products under the Productos La Baguala brand. The multifloral pasture — with native species and introduced varieties of high ecological value — is the heart of the productive system and the source of the unique flavour of our honey.
From Fundo La Pampita we also operate El Mundo de las Abejas, the beehive installation and maintenance service for individuals and businesses in the Aysén Region.

Local agroindustry · Aysén, Patagonia
Under the Productos La Baguala brand, we produce natural foods using the resources of the Aysén forest and pasture, with fully traceable origin.
At Fundo La Pampita, animal welfare is part of the production model. Our dairy cows live in open pastures with permanent access to clean water, quality forage and shelter through the winter months. We raise with time, without shortcuts.
Animal welfareThe Aysén Region has a long tradition of artisans working wool using techniques passed down through generations. From Fundo La Pampita, we are happy to connect our visitors with local craftspeople — textiles, leatherwork and trades worth knowing.
Local artisans
We make jams and natural juices with native fruits from Aysén: calafate, maqui, nalca, rosehip and rhubarb, among others. The only preservative we use is sugar — no chemical additives, no industrial blends. The flavour comes from the fruit and the season, not the laboratory.
No chemical preservativesWe have been working with bees in Chilean Patagonia for over six decades. Our management is holistic: we prioritise hive health over production volume, respecting the natural cycles of the bees and the territory. The result is a pure, unblended honey with the unique character of the Aysén pre-cordillera.
